Integrating Bufferzone with a new instance of Xero
Sign out of Xero on the “Xero Integration” page on Bufferzone
Delete products in Bufferzone on the “Products Page” on Bufferzone
Prepare your new Products list in Xero
Make sure all other data is ready in the new instance of Xero
Resync Bufferzone to Xero by signing in again but to the new Xero instance
This process assumes that all Contact information remains the same from the old instance of Xero.
If customer contact information has changed there are other preparations that need to be considered when setting them up to avoid duplicate contacts being created in Bufferzone on syncing the new instance.
Note that by signing out of Xero in step 1, previously assigned Xero ID’s will be removed from Bufferzone contacts, there is no need to use the ‘Resync Xero’ button on the Xero Integration page.
