Barcode Scanner Setup

When you scan the customer’s barcode, you should find that the customer ID will be typed out automatically, as though you had entered it by hand. Here’s the usual procedure we recommend when scanning customer barcodes:

1. Highlight the site search field at the top of the page, as though you’re going to search for a customer.

2. Scan the customer’s barcode. The customer’s ID will appear in the search field.

3. After a moment, the customer’s details will appear below the search field. Click the details to view the customer’s site page.
