Chemistry Targets and Ranges for Pool Structures and Finishes

Go to Chemical Dosage Settings/Targets and Ranges

The system comes with a default set of ranges. The page scrolls to the right to show all chemicals in the system. You can leave them as is or change them as you see fit

To set up your own set of default settings, click on the New Structure button and leave all settings in the popup blank

Then you can go in and set up your own set of defaults for all structures

For instance, you might like Total Alkalinity in your area to have a range of 90 to 130 with a target of 110. You can set this up and then if the results fall within that range, you won’t need to add any Sodium Bicarbonate or Acid, but as soon as it drops below 90 or above 130, the system will automatically try to dose it to 110 ppm. Or in a tropical area, you might like the chlorine to be a bit higher so you could change it to a low of 2, a high of 5 and a target of 3. This is completely up to you. If you leave any blank, the system will draw the targets and ranges from the Default settings. Then hit Save

You can also set up targets and ranges for specific structure types, wall finishes, pool types and Sanitisers

For instance, you could set up targets and ranges for a pool with an Ionizer. The default ranges in the system for both Copper are 0, 0 and 0.2 and for Iron 0, 0 and 0.3. If we set up a Structure for pools with an Ionizer and set Copper and Iron both to 1, 2 and 3, the system will use those settings for those Chemicals to recommend dosages

Here is a regular pool with default targets and ranges set for Copper and Iron

If we then change the Structure to use an Ionizer

If we then look at the targets and ranges for this structure, you can see that it is drawing its targets and ranges for Iron and Copper from the settings you’ve created specifically for pools using Ionizers

You can go through and be as finicky and specific as you like, setting up as many unique Structure targets and ranges as you like and the system will use those settings to recommend dosages
